At last! MY New LY 182 Clio RS! :D

Picked up the new beautiful LY182 yesterday after a depressing 12 hour round trip! bought it off JayR and its a STUNNER! ran perfectly all the way home! really really am pleased with it! so glad i took the risk in travelling all that way!

Pics just DO NOT do justice! the paint is a fantastic colour! there actually s**t pics as the camera was setup wrong :S and i was in a major rush, i just havent had time to clean up good and proper or take it anywere for good pics :( so bit gutted as i cant keep my eyes off of it!

but yea it is in MINT condition which is what i was after so i am more than chuffed with it! its exactly what i wanted! fell in love as soon as he pulled it out the garage! lol. fells like a gooden aswell! pulls really well, quite abit better than the old 172! also feels alot more solid.

..So its the start of another amazing Cliosport journey! ;) will have another "project diary" up when i give it a bloody good clean. Not got any plans to mod it. just keep it mint and fancy visiting the ring later in the year. if anything all i will be doing is private plate and fitting trophy recaros if any pop up!

enjoy the s**t pics! will have some proper ones up sometime soon when i get a chance to give it a proper going over!

for those who asked the 172 has been sold, its just sitting at mine untill buyer has sold his current 1.5 dci. :)

JayR - ooo anything u can share? I'm sure it will be another minter ;) yea same to you mate. Also I love the way your mam new more about The car than my mate did haha! Tbh couldn't of asked for a better seller or situation! Went brilliant! So suprised know one snatched it from u when u thought about selling it 1st time!

Lol maby, il keep an eye out for u also! but It won't be parked round there, not this baby lol.. Only parking it were is 100% safe lol!

I def won't miss the LY parked somewhere!!

She is good the old girl! I think she was even more sad to see it go than me! lol

Same to you on the sale mate, easy peasy......As i said in the ad, first to see it would buy it! ;)

Yea I did, iv wanted alot of cars tbh tho.. Had lots of threads on "what u think of this.." etc etc, but when it came down to it and selling my old 172 (which I have had epic times in) I couldn't find another car which would be as cheap to buy and run and insure tbh, it looks great, chuckable on b-roads, practicle, gets 40mpg and that can keep up with Most other hot-hatches.. TBF the 172/182 really are bang for buck. Plus iv always wanted a LY182! So I thought to myself y not get the best LY182 out there...( which i have ;) ). It is also an upgrade from the 172 bar the shape. its newer and has more creature comforts than the 172 also Is all round a better car (IMO) luckly this ones got a little more umph to it also!

...plus I'm wanting move out at end of the year etc so for me this LY182 fits the bill perfectly!

^Its a tough one really Fletch but as you seem to like LY too (if your posts are anything to go by on here) and as already stated it is a fair bit stronger than standard 1*2's running about on the road (in many areas) its not a totally odd choice imo as it is in some way a progression at least!

No doubts the 200 would've been the better choice but at the end of the day a top spec one of those was going to cost our man here the best part of 15k where this didnt cost him anywhere near! I dont think hes made a bad choice personally and thats not because i sold him the car as, as he knows i didnt even want to sell him it when the offer was put to me! lol

When hes got his house he's planning on i dont think he will look back and think he made the wrong choice.

I'm more than happy with it. An like I said, there was nothig for me which was better bang for buck or anywer near as fun for the money... Maby I didn't want to leave the mk2 scene.. It is an upgrade IMO as it's defo one of the best left out there with the best options! Plus the most rare! (barr petrol blue) also I have good cotacts for services and getting ren parts Dirt cheap... Oh n u guys on here ;)
