you have obviously been going to fast. Anyway i'm on 24,800 miles and i think they will be needing chaging soon.

My dealer checked the pads on my 172 when I got it serviced. It has done 36,000 kms - about 23,000 miles. On the basis of wear so far they'll last just short of 100,000 kms - about 60,000 miles.

Phew, I'm glad its not just me. Until I get any heat into the brakes, they're completely useless...I can not even get ABS to engage (on a dry road, straight road). Once they're warm, they are fantastic.

The cars done 11k miles, and I'm changing the pads tomorrow for DS2500's. The fluid has been changed, so I hopefully this should fix the problem.

i was going to try them ds2500's but after reading the poor fitment, more dust, and more noise, i may just get some OE pads from renault..?

ive only ever had my abs engage once lastnight on a big patch of salt because i wanted to see if it would actually do it.

thought i once read they were better than porsche brakes? was it in whatcar or something?

i did do an hour on an airfield trackday too though

i could go on for a while yet but thinking of changing them to try and get them back like new. i no longer have any confidence in them.

does anyone know what make the pads are that renault put in as standard?
