Attemping boosted ph1

  182/RS2/ Turbo/Mk1
Flol, if only that was the case mate, sadly ive got at most 4-5 hours a week realistically between now and bedford to get my turbo and my mk1 both ready. Which seems unlikely.
Although if Danlp6 keeps popping round lending me a hand, that massively increases the odds, he is so much quicker working on clios than I am! Engines etc Im fine with but things like dash in and out and that he runs rings round me as he has done it all so many more times before.

Suppose it's handy having someone like that around you to give a hand..

You need the turbo ready for Bedford!!

All the turbos out together

Fooking right!
Bottom line is there isnt really anything on a car I cant do, but someone like Dan who works on them day in and day out can do a lot of the standard mechanical stuff much quicker than I can.

I am really hoping it will be mate.

Yeah man, deffo, Mike's brother is booked on too (mike from MWM I mean) in his turbo although its his daily road car and not mega spec its still quick.

Been looking at my water pipe lines and the one one the back of the turbo is so tight upto the bulkhead that its bent that much I can't see hardly and water flowing through it whatsoever :/ shall I still just connect it up or just sack the water off?

Do you have space to fit an elbow in. I thought on mine there wasn't enough room so decided to use banjo fittings.

  Ph1 T
Yeah should get one on I reckon. Could I use that banjo on just the one and keep the bsp bit on the other as ones alright it's just the one towards the bulkhead.

What parts will I need to do it using one of those banjo's mate?

Also where did you get your 1" to 1/2" reducing tee for the matrix pipes

You'll need a m14x1.5 banjo bolt and fitting but yeah, you could do 1 side only.

I made up the fitting from 2 1" fittings and a 1/2" into an equal tee. Ended up not using it because I got forge hoses an with aftermarket hoses the is a join just before the heater matrix that you can split and take a feed and return from.

Need to get my catch tank fitted now it had 2 pipes that were used as returns on my other engine could I just use one and cut down the other and fit a filter to it as it doesn't have one? Otherwise ill just buy one that does

Due to me being a heavy handed b*****d today I've manage to snap the map sensor and the sensor connections off 2 injectors ...

Luckily I've got some spare injectors so fitted them but fuels pissing out of them so I'm guessing there shot!! Getting fed up now lol

Had all the bits off this weekend and gave them a licking of vht paint then cooked in the oven at 250' nearly set the place alight left it for too long haha cured perfect though :)

Fitted my actuator tee and connected it upto that pipe off the fpr.
Fitted the new banjo on the water feed so it fits right and no kink in the pipe now.
Had the gearbox mount out and made sure I tightened it up fully this time so the knocking has now gone :)

Think that's about it for yesterday another few little bits done :)

Eibach camber bolts turned up other day just going to take them to the garage when they do my suspension.
Ally pipe has come aswell so going to get the sump done and fitted so no more leaking oil return.

Found it on a video , its from an oversea clio, looks the best way to do it tbh

My routing is far from ideal (i compromised by keeping the battery in the engine bay), it's made no difference to power, and no difference to lag. If it fits then leave it :)

Just a quick one with me having the waste gate disconnected should the car feel any different or still the same as running NA
