Proper shattered all weekend, only lasted until about 1 on the Saturday evening! 😧
You need to come to pre CSS training (RDR camping) with us next year

Lol you'll have to be better prepared for next timeProper shattered all weekend, only lasted until about 1 on the Saturday evening! 😧
Just worked really stupid hours last week to make sure I wasn't snowed under with paperwork when I came in to the office this morning. I'll be there like swimwear. I'll just plan my holidays better next yearHardcore hardcore on the fcuking dance floor!!!
You still need to come RDR next year though.
Great weekend! Great to actually put faces to the names I have been chatting with over the last 10 years!
There was over 270+ food vouchers redeemed which gives you a rough idea of how many people were on site!@Sunglasses_Ron @Dan Do you have any numbers on how many attended in total?
Whats the thinking with the trackday, success? If so, where next year?!? ha
Thanks for switching on the bloody RS monitor too 😅. I shat myself when I went to move the car!Forgot to say thanks to @The Boosh! - Luke (proper nice guy and stunning girlfriend) for letting me have a sit in the new Trophy. Am thinking about buying one so was great to see one in the flesh. It ended up raining just as I got in so @TimR26 and me sat in there for ten minutes. It really did feel a great place to be, the seats were incredibly comfy and supportive, nice steering wheel and a lovely matt white paintjob. Felt it really needed some nice Brembos to finish it off though.
Does anyone know who owned the Liquid Yellow 197 that was parked down near the fairground ride?
I believe it had red wing mirrors?

Next year: We'll have a review as a team about what went well/ what needs improving and take a view.
Can't help but echo everyone's comments, the range of activities was great (karting, track, bbq, tent, music etc) & the camping/evening turnout eclipsed other CS Saturdays so a big thanks to the admin team (great value too @ £20 for 3 days). Gutted I didn't turn up in a Clio, but huge thanks to those who took me out as a passenger:
- The straights were very economical in @JP83 's DCI, but the braking & corner speed of the wan-li-triangle-ling-longs was pleasantly surprising. Seems to have learnt to be very smooth & precise with all of 86 BHP, reckon you're going to be annoyingly quick at CSS '23 when you eventually finish your 172...
- @Pacman. 's driving style was hilarious, an exact replica of his personality & I really don't know why I expected anything different  BTCC spec maximum attack was a right laugh, spent more time on two wheels hopping over kerbs than on four!
- On-track highlight for me was an epic time in the wet with @Bunta !!! A couple of laps getting a bit of heat into the tyres & we had the track virtually to ourselves exploring the limit and . Enjoyable & informative chat with you & your father about driving styles for the MR2.
I suppose the danger when doing track time is that it becomes just about track time and nothing else. I'd of liked to have stayed for the evening but think I'm too old, I was shagged after a morning in the Rallye.
Was there any traders in attendance? I'd have thought some might have turned out with 250 plus Clio fanatics in attendance.
Whats the score with the 'pro' photgrapher that was there? Does anyone know where we get his images?
@Dan
I'm pretty sure you're not too old for our evening entertainment and camping!
Hopefully you'll decide to camp next year
Every one of our traders were contacted about attending. But to be fair to them most supplied some amazing raffle prizes.
We will try and get some more along next year.
We were also supposed to have dent man but he let us down at the last minute.
On another note, from what I saw on the AM session anyway, the standard of driving from everyone on track was superb! Everyone I came across always let the faster car(s) through and kept the session running smoothly.
Dave has pretty much nailed it there IMO! There was something for everyone. I'd have liked to see some trader stalls and stuff, but besides that, the whole weekend was brilliant.

PM session was just as good. People could not help themselves to get out of your way if you were on one ..
Couldnt agree more. Driving standards were brilliant.

@TheEvilGiraffe didn't you have concerns about what the standard of driving would be like?
