Don't let it mate he wasn't intentionally trying to offend you. Its just the internet, if you let things bother you it'll only make it worse.

As for the question it was a silly one to ask, fair enough you didn't know but now you do :).

Calm down.

Right, don't use a low-powered machine to apply polish because you'll end up with buffer trails where you haven't been able to generate enough speed / heat to properly work the polish.

Any wax will work on any paint, it's case of deciding what you want from a wax really. Even though colour-charged waxes don't really change the colour of your paint, they've been proven to add a shade so I'd stick to non-coloured waxes on white to be honest.

As for not seeing where the wax is to buff it off, just make sure you fully cover each panel and then cover every inch when removing. You should be able to see a haze to the waxes surface at the right angle / light.

AutoGlym HD is highly rated for the money and lasts well. Lots of VERY thin layers.

Done using HD wax, I liked it, found it hardened very quickly but wouldn't buy it again. I bought the full kit for about £40, but it did last for a long time.

Cheers Jaff. Prima Amigo brought it up a treat. This was my first effort with a DA and after applying a couple of coats of HD I was so bloody happy with the result.

The wheel colour was chosen by AUTOCRASH. It's a Honda colour iirc. I can't tell you how happy I was they were delivered and I fitted them. It's a fair bit darker than Renault anthracite but I think it really suits the car.

Yes there's a tint of blue in there that compliments e colour of the car.

Very nice anyway :)

First up omg i'm semi and second. You finished a pot of HD wax?

Let me explain this, if I bought a new pot of AG HD and applied correctly 1 or 2 layers every 6 months (roughly the least amount of time it will last) the pot like many others on the market would outlast me. Seriously.

I used it every other wash on this XR2 as the paintwork was previously pink and wanted to maintain a glossy finish. The same pot got used on several different cars over 2 years or so to be fair!

For the same price as AG HD I would look at Bilt Hamber Finis Wax. It costs less and comes highly recommend, best one I have used out of about 5 or so, very under rated for the price imo!

Also can cover up holograms, very easy on/off and is meant to have 5+ months durability but only used mine a week ago
