Avon ZZR – what tyre pressure do you recommend?

I've just bought a set of Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2s and wrapped them in Avon ZZRs, 195/50/15. I'm having a -2 camber set up done at the moment, with 10 minutes toe out. Getting her out at Silverstone this Sunday for a play at the PistonHeads Sunday Service.

Can anyone recommend what sort of tyre pressures I should be looking at? Should I then adjust when the tyres have warmed up too? It's going to very very cold when I leave home Sunday morning, probably 0 degrees!

30psi hot is the target pressure recommended by Avon.

Take with you a decent tyre pressure gauge and a compressor that runs off the cigarette lighter. Reduce pressures to 25/26/27/28 and do a few laps, come in and check pressures as soon as you can. Adjust if necessary. Go out again and repeat.

Don't forget to reinflate at the end of the day before you drive home.
