Awesome... anyone else get this?

I've been doing some seriously fun country road driving (all sensible stuff - nothing suicidal). With the missus as a brilliant co-driver (she's looking over my shoulder )... And I just wanted to see if anyone else was getting lift off "popping" noises at high revs. Like a race car. Cool as, think its called 'over run' isn't it?

But what ever, it's wicked, lift off at 50 in 2nd and I'm getting that beautiful rev sound with 'pop pop pop'...

my exhausts so fooked just now it'd blow a hole in it trying it lol not going above 3krpm till i get my new zorsrt.

mines never popped repeatedly has made some big pop / bang when changing down at 5krpm

My exhaust's got a nice burble anyway, but sounds awesome changing up and down at higher revs.

i get pops and bangs, but only when the exhaust is REALLY hot.

which most of the time is only when its going round a race track

i have to admit, i've never heard a standard exhaust popping round the tracks... can't see it happening personally :S

i revved mine up one morning - it was really cold and when i let off it gave a nice pop.. its a standard 182 exhaust.. i was shocked

ive only had it the odd time when downshiftint to like second to take a roundabout.

And I'm pretty sure mine is a standard exhaust... Unless the previous owner sneaked it on and Renault didn't tell me... my girlfriend jumped a mile when it popped. Pretty much put her head through the roof. lol

Then she told me to turn left into a field (which I didn't do)... some Sat Nav she is! To be fair though, she did direct me to some lush country roads. Good girl

mine pops quite a bit especially when goin down hill or rollin down a multi story car park, sets off a few car alarms
