Backbox Knocking

ARRRGHHHH
This is really startin to do me nut in now
bought a backbox off a 1.2 16v clio and ive put it on me 1.2 8v (both 03reg)
and the pipe that leads owt from the backbox to the cat is knocking off the rear beam
(the bit that arches to go over the rear beam)

ive lowered my car aswell,dunno if this cpuld be part of why it knocks

i dont wanna cut into my bumper

sum1 on here sed try exhaust bandage but wouldnt that just set hard and continue to knock?

sum1 please help as this is a very annoying knocking

Where are you based?

Best get it on the ramps and see if you can get a custom bracket and hanger made up to stop the knocking.

there is about an inch max of clearence between the pipe and rear beam.

how would a custom hanger stop that like? dus it stop it from moving altogether?

It will give it extra support and result in less movement.

a man with a broken leg fitted it and me lowering springs for £30 LOL

got it checked at national tyres n the fella re-hung it for free bt he sed the only way to stop it from knocking was to cut a hole in the bumper
