Bad News From OZ Racing

Apparently, OZ Racing are debating whether or not to keep the Superleggera wheel in production, this is due to them not being able to keep up with demand for the wheel!!!! (seems strange to me, surely theyll be making a fortune off their wheels and should be able to expand their manufacturing facilities???+ they have all the motorsport side of it too)

Aparently their is now a 4month wait for Superls????

its not easy to make though, and how many wheels would you need ot make to expande the facotry!!

just imagine the problem replacing 1 wheel if you buckle it - youd have to look for a full second hand set and have 3 spares

OZ have broke the cast that the wheels are made with. and you cant get them till min the end of the year if at all.

I heard that too, but surley there must be more than one cast?!

Yea there must be different sized casts etc and also cast with different stud patterns as the holes are cast not drilled. But it must be something that they use in all the cast to stop all production.

lol....how can you break the cast...they are huge solid things! and your gonna have more than one.

I think its just an excuse that their production capacity is low.
