Battery too big?

Just got my 90 deg bend and all the bits to put a 'ktec style' induction kit on to see what the crack is and I can't get the bleedin filter in behind the headlight. Is my battery too big or am I being a r****d?

Just seen how gash that photo is. Ok, what battery should I have? This one has '065' on it.

Standard battery should be 063. The one you have deffinately looks too large.

Yeah thats bigger than standard, mine has the same - I can't fit the standard induction pipes in.

I had a right argument with the motor factors when they insisted mine was the bigger 065, kept telling them it wouldn't fit properly. Same probably happened here.

Do you reckon I could be able to 'wangle' this induction setup and buy a filter like this (116mm) and bin off the twin cone filter @ 150mm and this might work? On another note, what are these cheapo filters made from? The one I got just looked like mesh and no paper/cotton. Saves me buying another battery.

Sod it, just found this place for batteries not far from here anyway. Gonna go pick one up tomorrow £20! 12 month's warranty, job's a good'un! I even feel a bit 'eco warrior' as I drive off burning my super unleaded at ozone unfriendly pace.

New (well re-energised battery) @ £20 bargain! And here it is. Like the look but not sure on the noise it makes yet. Bit OTT.

Same problem ad mine, it really anoys me but it cost £50. Weres beat to get a standard new battery?

Got mine for £20 - recharged but as good as a new one. 12 month warranty. Ebay it - 'ecobattery'.

Ideally id like to get the exact standard ones, are they renault?

No they're the same but without Renault stickers and price tag!
