Been playing with my little buffer

Hiya all, thought id invest in a cheap little buffer manufactured by silverline (direct power screwfix) just under 20.00 which has given great results! didnt want to spend any more or opt for a bigger orbital sander!.. (as its my first play with a machines!

today combined with some http://www.elitecarcare.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=599
then given a good going over with srp and then topped off with egp! very pleased with the results! much better than hand!

I try to keep my spending to a min but i still like to get the best results i can! the buffer/polisher isnt a correction tool but this wasnt something i really needed as my paint work is always cared for .. just wanted to get rid of light swirling!

I disagree personally, I think the polish will offer correction even by hand, and even more so with a machine polisher, but if you didnt do much work with the menzerna, its probably mainly the SRP and EGP masking the swirls.

think you have miss understood me!( i agree with you) i have worked hard with the machine and the menzerna followed by srp and egp! all have helped!

menzerna have removed a very clean base swirl free for srp to bond to!

i only meant this machine isnt meant of lots of correction work! its only a buffer/polisher!

its removed marks on my spoiler that were there since i had it (2 years ago) nothing would shift them!

same as the silverline - also bought some spare bonnet pads/towels!!! (which are much better quality than the ones supplied)

for the amount of work my car need this is great really pleased!

(would have spent more if my car was more in a mess but for small correction its great!!)
