Best 16v/willy ind kit (but power loss)

Tempted to fit an induction kit again (miss the noise!) to my 1.8 valver but dont want to loose the power that the standard airbox offers. Is there any induction kit out there that offers the noise without the heat problems normally assosiated with open cones.

Viper etc is out as theyre far too expensive but how good is the Hillpower one? I know its an open cone but seems to have a shield type thing round it......

Opinions welcome.....

hillpower do a relocation kit that will move your cone out of the engine bay. No Heat, Good Noise

^yeah just seen that one - looks good! Any ideas how to drill a hole that size in the bulkhead though?

BMC CDA or Pipercross Viper

reason i suggest these two, is the ITG Maxogen is still not fully developed, although i am looking into this further as we speak

iv got a bmc, pipercross and standard airbox. pipercross for noise, bmc for power, although no noise! and standard i havent tried yet. thats next!

ive got a viper. cant say if it looses me any power over a standard airbox but it definitely gains over an open IK

Ive got a Hill Power Induction kit on my Williams 3, pretty impressive. It sounds like a monster on acceleration (just imagine a monster making a loud roaring noise while running or something)

Glad I chose the Hill Power kit, but getting a 182 next week and have already ordered the BMC CDA kit. Hill Power would be my second choice though. :)
