Best Clio 172 MPG?

Did search, but couldnt really find a dedicated thread

Left it on mpg average when i drove from wolves to heysham the other night, quite shocked really

172 with decat, magnex and pipercross carbon induction kit

Cant be bad really, my 1.6 astra daily has only ever managed 46mpg on a good week

I must be doing something wrong, i am only getting 37 MPG and thats trying to drive it gently. Oh and its a 182 not a 172.

mine was set over a 110 mile journey at 60-65 as i wasnt in a rush, minimal traffic.

i can get it higher if i cheat and clutch in not long after resetting it

how the fooooook do you get 50s!

coast to juncitons
use less throttle, generally
dont rush up to the back of queues of traffic in case you're missing out on something
obey speed limits.
good tyres with correct pressures
keep windows shut
