Best compact camera for video........

Basically my bros a dj and he wants to start recording the sets, he records audio via a magic box thing, dunno what it is but works a treat so he dont want a camera for audio, more visual,

anyone got any pointers which ones to look for?
ive got a cannon ixus 65 and works a treat but a few years old, any knowledgeable people?

oh most of its use will be in clubs, eg- fabric/the end and other london clubs, so it'll be dark

Low light in clubs makes it very hard to film.

I used full sized tri ccd in the past. Best of british
