Best tyres for Williams

I have just put two new Pirelli P6000 185/55/15 on the front wheels of my Williams 2. Before these tyres I had some cheap & cheerful make with quite a big side wall put still 55 profile.

Now i thought that the Pirelli would be loads better, but they are Worse!!!! I have tryed to lower the pressure down to 29psi but they have left me, not trusting the car when cornering. Also the Pirellis have made the car skittish on bumpy roads.

What tyres suit the car best?, I am now thinking about going 195/50/15.

Thanks Del Boy

Most people go for 195/50/15 purely for the fact that they are a lot cheaper.

I have Goodyear eagle F1s and they are a lot better than the Yoko A539s i used to run.

As the experts say, Renault did all the testing on the Michelin Pilots they recommend. If handling is important, stick to them. Yes they are expensive, but they are the best choice.
