BHP power guestamates please ???

Hello chaps,
can I have your guestamates for bhp with the following modifications on my 172 cup

Matched inlets
V6 airbox and itg filter
s/s catback exhaust
Hillpower reprofilled piper cams
Live / unique custom remap to my car for all the above.

depends what it is now, have it rolling roaded before and after mods so you can see what gains you get for the bhp and torque aswell

Do Hill Power re-profile their own spec of cams ?

yes, they use one of the piper cams and reprofile them, not sure how readily available they are but i managed to pick up a set from laxy off here

I'd guess 188Bhp but that is just a guess cos we don't know what it's running Standard.

no worries,

i have driven a few (all stock) before i bought my cup and would def say that this one felt the most perky so i would like to think it is there or there abouts standard power. plus a bit more as i have matched inlets catback and v6itg combo already. which all made a bigish difference over standard. so i think i am in the 180's just.

being tight on gains i would say
say 7bhp inlets (claim range of 7 - 13 right?)
3bhp for itg v6 airbox
3bhp catback ss exhaust

on say 170 puts me circa 183

and i would expect a MINIMUM of 10bhp from cams and live remap....

so with my guestamate i think will be about mid 190's and if i am lucky just shy of 200

I had 177 with no cams or inlet work, just a decat, Ktec stealth, panel filter, and off the shelf Rsport ECU. I'm now at 186 having put the V6 airbox on, and taken the power steering off (about 7 for the steering, leaving 2 down to the filter).

So 179, without cams, without inlets, and without a custom map.

Throw that at mine and I'd expect 190-195 or thereabouts.

This is the realistic level to expect from cams and the usual choice mods.

Regarded as a very accurate rolling road.
