Black gold 172 daily and track toy

As a start here she is as purchased! I’m going to sort the mechanicals before going for the track stuff. List so far includes, cambelt including dephaser, auxiliary belt kit, brakes all round, front tyres and a service.

The 172 was pearl black and the 182 was black gold. Nearly impossible to tell the difference in normal light or if the car is dirty!

Worth remembering if you ever look to buy used body panels.

Easiest way to check is at night with your phone torch.
Your rear bumper does look to have some gold fleck in it tbf but the rest looks to be 100% pearl black.
You can tell the difference, BG is a little deeper

Very nice car. Also black gold was only on 182 and pearl black only on the 172 (yours)
