Black Mountain Road

Hi everyone,

Just been for a gentle spin along the black mountain road. Thought I would take a few pics and show people what they are missing if they dont live in Wales. This road is about 15 mins from me. Its worth a run any day and today was sunny and dry.

The car behaved beautifully and enjoyed all the twisty bits. Honestly, I am still learning to drive it so I wasnt pushing that hard at all but it was still a beautiful road to experience.

You can either drive south along the road from Llangadog or you can head North via Brynamman.

Not much traffic on the road but there are a few sheep so you need to be careful.

Thats a Great bit of road... i head up once a year with a few mates, have to becareful of the suicidal bikers though!

i got overtake on the Hairpin by a guy on a hyabusa who was totally horizontal

i did it yesterday. weather was not quite as pleasent though. sheep emerging from the mist was not nice. ther was some camera cars aswell with a rig following a merc couldnt see who was in it though

Awesome roads. I need to do a trip over at some point. We usually locate ourselves around Bala but it seems as though a trip south is worth it.

That was the first proper driving road I took my 182 on, went down to see family and we detoured on it on the way home
