So I fitted new discs, front & back and also new pads DS2500's front and back and also put on braided lines. I did this before on my last 182 and used a Gunsons EZ-bleed kit which worked perfectly.
However this time the pipe inside the Gunsons reservoir appeared to have fallen off after I'd connecting everything up, I realised this when I took everything off after bleeding. It had also filled the brake reservoir completely to the top so I used a syringe and tube to remove the excess.
The brakes work but the pedal has reasonable play and is spongy and feels like constant fade.
I managed to sort out the EZ-bleed kit (as where the pipe inside connected to the lid there was not enough of the out flow pipe pushed through the cap for it to slide onto). However after I bled them again, exactly the same thing had happened and the reservoir was totally full and had actually started to drip down inside the engine bay onto the driver side wishbone
I expect I've drawn some air in in the process but don't feel confident enough to try and rectify it myself. I was planning on giving my local specialist a call on Monday when they are open but wouldn't mind some suggestions as to what the problem could be (if I'm wrong) and if it's going to be a big job £££ or not to fix?
Thanks,
Ben
