I first saw this car ~2 week ago whilst working on the Mercedes GL420.. Ever since, I’ve been looking forward to this day. You don’t see many 6-series’ on the roads.. They hold so much road presence. I like!

Exterior inspection:
Some light swirls and funky holograms were seen through the dirt..
Interior inspection:
Cream carpets! eek!!
In making sure I don’t end up tripping over myself, I set up base:
I first tackled the wheels. A mix of G101 and Wheel Brightener used to clean the alloys, tyres and arches. Claying was required to shift a healthy pitting build-up.
Moving on to the roof, 303 convertible hood cleaner used here – later protected with x2 coats of Fabric Guard.
Snowfoamed and hidden away areas were worked with a brush or two.
Washed in the usual manor. Two buckets, washmit, Dodo BTBM.
Finally, Sonus Green Mild clay used to lift surface contaminants.

Just as I’m drying the car and prepping for the machine polishing stage, a chicken poo’s right in my path. Great! (They’re Jurassic chickens!)
Megs yellow polishing pad used today with Limeprime assistance. Came up very well indeed.
A slight 50/50:
An attempt to show the natural light 50/50:
Lower doors before:
After: (..with added swirls on the skirt)
50/50 on bonnet showing the difference in colour/clarity:
The sun peeps through the wooden slats; looking good:
Left side finished. Right side unfinished.

…what? It’s a shame to waste it!
Before end of play on Day 1, Supernatural was put down and allowed to cure.
And coming off nicely:
Before shutting down for the day, I sealed the alloys with JetSEAL, dressed the tyres, applied second coat of Fabric Guard to the roof and worked the exhausts to the best I could.
Fabric Guard left to dry:
Day 2, and, it’s the interior.
First of all, I chased myself round the car clearing up a few wax holograms that had formed from the wax gassing. I had a few troubles with the bonnet throughout actually, some strange reactions I’d never seen before. A final wipedown in the last stages sorted everything nicely though.
Roof dropped to give better access:
Mats out and vac’d with the VAX6131.
Water collected from mats:
Leather, as always, cleaned and protected with LTT.
Left side clean, right side dirty (tough to distinguish):
Dirt that was lifted:
Grille at the front-end was looking a little tired. Out with the Jeffs Prime.
After LTT Auto Ultra Foam was used, I always give a damp wipedown with a fresh/clean cloth. Once dried, LTT Auto Ultra Protect used.
After Zaino wipedown:
Vehicle then moved round the corner in hope of some sun for the after shots..
Spot the difference:
Home time:
As stated previously, a nice car! Wish I was driving the BM home as opposed the derv A4 Avant! (Sun was out too! (…kind of!))
