bolt replacement

Car  Clio 172 cup
Evening all.
I need to replace nearly every bolt on the rear beam of my 172 most were so sseized/corroded that they have to be cut/drilled. The others are so corroded thst I rather not reuse them.

After speaking to renault Wolverhampton, it is going to cost a fortune to use oem bolts and I can source bolts far far cheaper. However I am concerned about the strength of non oem nuts and Bolt. I intend to use 10.9 strength zinc coated steel with nyloc nuts would these be up to the job

Mate any fastenings you buy from a dedicated supplier will be fine.

Renault don't make their fastenings to a higher standard than anyone else. Generic fastenings are perfectly fine and will save you a fortune.

I have done this with no issues
