after stipping the centre console out of my car,
i want to retain the cigarette lighter and lock switchers,

theyre fixed to a plate thats made of the same stuff as the dash,
but i cant figure out a way to glue it on!!

i tried supperglue, but because the pannel is facing the driver, its at 90degrees to the dash, (if that makes any sence) so there was a very small surface to glue. needless to say, it didnt take.

any tips? it needs to be strong enough so that i can press the buttons idealy.
tips would be ace thanks

doesnt araldite take a very long time to set? not sure i want to stand there holding it all afternoon,
unless i used some tape to hold it on while it set,
hmmm

Depends on your ratio's in terms of hardener/resin, more hardener the quicker it sets, and it's hardly slow anyways and even quicker given an external heat source.

the stuff ive got has two like plunger things connected,
so the ratios are fixed to 50/50

ill have to get the heat gun involved!

You can get them in seperate sticks. Easier to use the combined ones though. :)

Cold is against you but should be reet.

why dont you bond it on with a small about of "fast setting" ratio just to hold it then fill it in with the "hard setting" ratio to finish it off? like for the first application just a blob at the top and a blob at the bottom
