bonnet bra help

i just bought a bonnet bra too combat against stone chips as gathered a few since getting the car just had a quick thought tho my clio has no engine cover and was wondering if the clip underneath it would melt or go on fire as there is nothing effectively to separate between the engine and fasteners and clip anyone got any thoughts on this?? thanks

General consensus on here I think you'll find will be that your car with a few stone chips will look approximately 1,000,000 times better than it will with a bonnet bra.

lol each and everybody too there own buddy i actually quite like them never used too but grew on me and serves a purpose roads around my area are horrible and would rather have it on for driving them atleast

What's the point of having nice unchipped paintwork on your bonnet, when nobody can see it for a hideous bra, and the front bumper is still going to get fucked anyway?

touchy lol someone doesn't like them well it means while a drive the car is doesn't get chipped anymore and while its sitting looks nice isn't an every day thing just proberly motorways and really bad back roads

i had no egine cover on mine to start with at it was fine if make sure the strap is tight i like bonnet bras they are smart break up the coulours a bit

Bonnet bras will fcuk up your paintwork anyway so you may as well have the chips.

They were great. Then all the euro sceners startd to use them as a "mod" because they were cheap.

Just make sure you dont leave it on damp or wet! or the build up of moisture will cause the paint under it to sweat and go off colour! I too have a bonnet bra and it looks pretty dope and serves a purposs. and about the engine prob my one dont go back that far? the furthest mine goes back is to the catch!

yes they will if you leave on for long periods of time but if just for driving saves the paintwork from being damaged more your not recommed too leave them on for longer than couple days
