Boost Valve

  182 + Mk1 ph1 Rt/16v
Gona be fittin an adjustable fuel pressure regulator (Boost valve) to my Mk1 Valver track car and was wondering if any1 has 1 already fitted to there valver? Could do with a heads up to what pressure's to run to start with!? and how to go about fitting it to over come the standard fuel pressure regulator?

I know alot of folk dont think these improve anything but i'm wana try squeeze every little bit out of the valver without going down the cam's, dif internals route.

Any help would be great!

Just don't. Why do you think cocking about with the fuel pressure will offer an improvement in power?

Cheers

I know it isnt going to improve power but they are meant to improve throttle response. Its more so when i'm on and off the throttle i should have max line pressure at all times.

There must be some advantages to running one of these or they wouldnt be avaliable. I've spoken to a few guys running these in there red tops etc and they said they did feel an improvement.

If it doesnt make any difference to it, i'll just take it back off again.
