clio mk2 ph3 1.4 16v (jan 2004)
172 rear bumper
172 wheels
25% tint all round
lowered 60mm on G-max springs

to come
colour coding of side mouldings and door handles (having it done on friday)
172 front bumper
172 interior complete with screens in headrests
some engine work
remap
possibly 182 exhaust.

EDIT: oh and btw theyre not 2.0 badges theyre 1.4 ones painted silver, which ive semi changed my mind about and put standard ones back on

Yes i do have quite a lot of trouble. Had a 30 pund fine already. If i get another im gonna take the front ones out.
Yesterday coming off a roundabout a copper (v70) pulled behind me and had seen them, so i pulled into a tire place i know and they were waiting round the corner, asked the guy if i could put it in a fitting bay for a bit and after about 10 mins they went away , really like them though otherwise i would remove them.

Thanks for the comments im really pleased with it at the moment, also bought a road angel compact.

yeh im gonna get a few sets and experiment with different colours i think. Any idea what price they are from renault? there arnet that many 1.4's about so i struggle to find them at scrappers.

do u know you will need arches, skirts and arch liners if your wanting the front bumper on your car? oh and wheel spacers! not the cheap halfords ones cos they are crap and your steering shakes like crazy

you will need to get proper spacers id recommend 25mm - i got 16mm ones and they are still too far into the arch but your talking £50+ for the 25s

arches - £60 each
arch liners - £100
skirts - prob over £120 (i suspect alot more)
bumper - at least £130 but i got mine for £100 from renault cos it was scratched

also if u want to compelte the look with the grill - thats £200!!

so your talking £600+ for the kit alone then about £400 for spraying and fitting - £1000+ roughly for all the work

just a warning - i did it tho lol

Duttys fits fine. Ill be having it moulded at a body shop to fit properly to stock arches if it doesn't fit like dutty's did. Im not new to the modding game all together you know. Oh my local paint guy has got the full kit if i want it for #400, but he wants to sell it whole with the rear bumper as well and i don't really want the wider arches as i don't feel confident about spacing the wheels to that extent.

Ali! how do you know it would look better with the sock rear bumper, you can't even see it, i can't see how the stock one looks better, they both follow the contours of the car at the end of the day just the 172 one looks more racey than the stock one.

you will notice a big difference in your clio from the standard arches to the wider ones

much better imo - looks really mean and wide!

the spacers are grand on the car as long as you get ones which attach to the hub

you will be putting a lot of stress on the 172 bumper if u force it to fit on standard arches and will NEVER fit perfectly
