Brakes Q's

  www.renparts.co.uk
Right im doing my front brake pads on friday. Got some Ferodo pads from frauds and been noticing since i got the car when i reverse and brake i can feel the pad movin in the caliper a fraction... reason i think its this is becuase then when you go forward you can feel it moving forward.. from then on forward braking you can't feel it... i assumer becuase the pad has seated itself in that direction. Or possibly the caliper.. i could also do with a guide on how to change pads ;)
thanks

If you look at the top of the tuning/technical page there is a pad changing guide.

Haven't done my Clio pads but done plenty in my time on other cars....pretty easy job really, only pain sometimes is getting the pistons back into the caliper to make room for the new, thicker pads....I usually use a big G-clamp and just wind them back in.
