Like the brake lines, hope you are going to tidy that cut on the slam panel where the air feed goes
Cheers mate. I know I'm trying. Lack of motivation atm.Looking sweet Mark,
finger out summer's coming
It sits under the black plastic of the bumper trim so it'll stay as it is! Lol! Stop zooming in!!Like the brake lines, hope you are going to tidy that cut on the slam panel where the air feed goes

Funnily enough, I need some of that for where the 2 halves of the airbox butt against each other!LOL
At least get a strip of this so you don't scratch that lovely carbon scoop.

Lol! It's got to pay for 2 wheels!!About f**king time!
Lol! Nope. I've got months, years even before that needs to happen!Isnt this running yet?????
 x
Thanks. Appreciate that!Still such an epic thread, love the work gone into it!
It's got a LOT to deliver currently mate. If it doesn't fulfill my expectations it'll be gone.It is an awesome read - very much looking forward to seeing it in the metal at some point
NO NO NO NO NOIt's got a LOT to deliver currently mate. If it doesn't fulfill my expectations it'll be gone.
Interest levels have wained mate unfortunately.NO NO NO NO NO
I did that with a bike, and it's one of my regrets. Literally spent 2 years building it, rode it for the summer, wasn't happy, and instead of sorting the niggles, broke it.
Don't you dare! It's got a LOT to deliver currently mate. If it doesn't fulfill my expectations it'll be gone.
Lol!Don't you dare!
It'll be 2 wheels for the next project mate, so unless you've got an s1000rr I'd be giving it a miss. Honestly though, I'm hoping it lives up to expectations.Swap for "clubsport" spec Trophy?
On the s thou? Piece of piss. In the cup? Not so much. I'd say a realistic time would be 8:15.Whats the target 7:50 btg?
No crotch rockets here. It'll be 2 wheels for the next project mate, so unless you've got an s1000rr I'd be giving it a miss. Honestly though, I'm hoping it lives up to expectations.
The wife's far from keen on me having one anyway. She's seen the way I drive and how I've ridden a few mates bikes! Lol!No crotch rockets here.
My old boss had one and changed it for the (whatever the fastest one is called) Aprillia. Said it was a much better ride in terms of balance.
In exchange for ££££'s yeah no problem! Nah unfortunately mate I don't have the time or the temperament for competition. Not my thing at all. I enjoyed helping BIGASH out when and where I could, but that's it.If you break it, you can give me the engine.
Would doing a little competition in it spice things up? Maybe some sprints or something?
It's a gen90 mate and is a direct replacement for the oe ecu. It's a very capable ecu tbf, and it meant I didn't have to faff with running the original and a mappable item. That's a win win situation as far as I'm concerned. Also, have you removed the standard ECU entirely? Notice a lot of people run two (presumably due to immobilisers). Much work in that?
Lol! Knowing what's in there it would never be given away anyway. There's some quite rare items (in terms of not readily available crap like wossner) and tbh, I don't think you'd ever realise it's true value.Well I'm happy to give you as many £ signs as you like, but I can't promise that there would be numbers after them lol. Would be interested to know what you think the engine is worth though, feel free to drop me a PM if you don't want to go public.
Interesting to know on the ECU. Always thought running two ECUs was a very messy solution.
Interest levels have wained mate unfortunately.
I was supposed to be in there doing a bit more today but I had an attack of the f**k it's.Get it working and on track and it might bring the enthusiasm back, get Oulton RS day booked and that is something to aim for without rushing.
Nice neat work with the wires
Yes they've got a price tag mate!Yeah I should imagine some of the R3 parts are quite pricey, plus all the work that's gone into it.
Interesting option the Gen90 then, good that it's effectively plug and play. Is it very adapatable? So if you bought one to run on a near-standard engine, could you then easily modify it to run a throttle body kit instead? Are they easily mapped? I suppose the problem can be finding someone who is willing to map certain brands of ECU.

Lol! Nice to know I'm not on my own!LOL
That's like me atm, I need to look at my steering rack bushes before Bedford next month and I can't be arsed.
Yes they've got a price tag mate!
Yep. Piece of piss mate. All you do is alter the settings and the map. Done. The gen90 is a gems software based ecu, so most people should be able to map it. Efi parts is where mine will be going.
