  a thirsty one
just for info for anyone with the above and considering track days or just curious.

btb system 98db with cat in place according to he original advert.

had mine tested yesterday with a yozza de-cat and was measured at 100db at peak.

just incase anyone with the above system or similar is worried about the db level, thankfully oulton park is 105db so im well within the limit.

when we first tested it at Goodwood (super strict) with cat in place it came out at something 86db.

its been on now about 13 months and done about 15k that was at between 5k-6k a bit higher than they normally do the rev db test at but at least i know and didnt cost anything oulton park just did it while i was there in another car.

Decibel readings are the most inconsistent things in the world due to baro conditions which greatly affect the readings.

Infact at most track days you could legally confront the organisers (and even the council with some tracks having direct links to flyby noise levels), on the calibration of their meters and the calibration of the machine they use to calibrate their meters, plus the offset they apply for the current air density factor.

But you probably wont be invited back lol.
