bucket seat install - help: where to put seat belt connector??

  RS182 Full Fat
Didn't see that coming. I've removed my front seats but notice the securing end for the belt is built into the seat subframe. I don't want to install harness. What are the best solutions people have found please?

its got a funny tubey part attached to it. I think I'll head down breakers yard and try to find something that will fit better.

might as well do some pictures as I go along. Given up for tonight though as its getting dark. Contrary to some posts the original seats are not that heavy. Just 20kg each. New ones including OMP subframes and runners 12kg.

To remove seats just need a 3/8th (what ever prehistoric dimensioning units that is) wrench thingy with extension bar and 13mm deep socket.. ordinary socket wont work. I have only got as far as taking out the old seats. I'll post some pics when i start asembling new seats.

Post pics of mounting frames you used and how installed too as im curious to what i need to buy for a straight fit.

Hiya. Pics of the OMP subframes already posted above. Got the first seat fitted which shows how they sit on the subframes.. pictured below Only had to drill 2 holes in the subframe to get the runners to line up. The subframes are ebay no. 331704247313 and the runners were ebay no. 250840724515, and the seats 161375123975. You can choose different runners/seats but I recommend the OMP subframes, they are vehicle specific for clio and fit perfect. They jusy happen to sit at perfect height but are adjustable up or down about 30cm on the seat side mounts.

So you just bought the clio omp frames and drilled holes to line them up?
And then the seat bolts to the omp frame?

You need x4 m8 45mm stainless steel bolts and nuts (or use nuts removed from before) to hold the subframe to the floor (per seat). You don't need to drill holes in the subframe for it to meet up with original holes to attach to floor... you only need 2 new holes in the subframe for the purpose of attaching the runners.
You might not need to drill 2 holes if you buy different runners as they might have correctly spaced holes, but i needed to.
Here is pic of part assembly of drivers seat prior to attaching seat:

Also, that passenger seats looks a little higher than standard?
Interested to see if the drivers seat is lower as this is one of the issues i find being higher than comfortable.

Nope.. the part you sit on is lower than the original seat. And you can go 1 cm lower than what i have them in pics. They just look higher because they are taller with higher head rest, and camera perspective.. you will sit lower to the floor!

Oh if getting same seats measure ar*e first.. I am kinda slim (34cm waist) but they are a squeeze to get into.

Nice one.
Im a 32 waist (hench as f**k) but i would have different seats to them anyway. Not that they arent decent, just i have some in mind.
