A big thanks to Jamie, who travelled up to lend me a hand yesterday.
Got the engine out, and found a different (pikey way) to lift the body up off the engine.
Started to drill fixing holes etc into the new engine bay (mind my shiny paint!).
Still loads to be getting on with, it never ending.

A little more done.
Rear loom is all in, fuel pumps etc. Fiddled around with the pedal box to change it from fbw to cable, what an arse that was.
And yes, the important bit, the engine is in.
So with some luck, it will be running next weekend, then just the cage and panels to put back in and on.

Thanks for you help yesterday mate, like old times.
Jamie came up today, got loads more done.
Cage in
Exhaust fitted and swapped rear beam.
All stuff that need another pair of hands.
Should be ready by the 15th Feb

As promised, Jamie came up on Sat, and we got more done.
Rear beams swapped over and brake lines done.
Exhaust fitted (as in above vid)
And rollcage all in.
So thanks to Jamie, all the double handed stuff is now done.
Went over for a couple of hours today, just to tidy up some little bit's of wiring and put the fire ex pull cables in.
So a few more bits off the list. :smile:

So here we are, a week on, and it's 99% done.
Only the sills and tailgate to fit (not sprayed yet). It's been a long 3 weeks and I'm knackered.
If I get chance this week, I'll corner weight it and get the geo done, but if not, tough titty, I'm still going to Silverstone on the 15th.
Moved the brake re to behind the scuttle panel

Roof scoop done, I hate drilling holes in the roof!

Set myself a target James, needed to be done as Silverstone booked next Monday, then I've got 10 days to sort any little problems out (hopefully none)
Then on holiday for 2 weeks, the day after we come back, we are off to Snett!!

Just having a little catch up on a few things on here, great to see the new car tony! Looks far to clean though, and also strange it not being a phase 1, good luck this year
