on holiday from half 4 today for 2 weeks (cannot wait!!!!!!! :D ) and am guna be fitting silvatecs, painting calipers and SRP, EGP and aqua waxing (if i can fit 3 washes in :S )

any other caliper coour photos would be nice (blue, silver, red etc) but i think black looks schweeeet!!!

cheers guys!

looks nice!!! cheers

do you reakon lighter colours like silver/yellow would look crap the second they got dirty?

Probably, was gonna paint my own black or silver. Cant have red unless their brembo imo. I chose silvervision over tecs. Just uprated sidelights and number plate lights with LED's too.

silver looks pretty good

havent bought the silvatecs yet, just thought the silvervisions still looked a bit orange, and the silvatecs were completely silver!

not too sure about going for a striking colour like yellow or blue etc, reali like silver, but wonder if it will a close colour match to the silver of the wheels, and wonder if it will get too dirty too quickly?

^^ A, less of that boyo!!

i was guna ask him what paint he used, how many coats, how easy they are to clean back to silver due to the brake dust etc etc!!!!

like shakaroo said, i would automatically think brembo if i saw red calipers.

if i could get monaco hammerite i would love blue! woould also like anthricite but they only do the basic colour in hammerite?

(at this point someone says 'NO, you can get any colour hammerite or equivalent and heres the link' :) )

put it this way - this is a picture of my show car! that i won lots of awards with i painted all the sills and arches with the stuff! giving protection as the car had prev been bitcheimined sp and i didnt like the look! so rather than strip it off i painted over it and it was a perfect match to tahiti! (in any light) and im sure monaco isnt a mile away! sure you have seen this colour about Tahiti blue (rover) was on metros/mini etc! rover used the colour for about 10 years (bless them)

that top pic looks very close to monaco!
right, back onto ebay tonight then lol!
you think 250ml wil be enough for 1-2 coats on 4 calipers?

yes it will be enough! you will have plenty left over! dont forget a childs brush as well/ artist brush anything like that will help you make a better job ;)

if i was you it would be blue or black on your car! (as i say if your a fussy bucker (like me) you could use blue then flash it over with the correct colour if you really wanted to but tbh i dont think you will notice the colour difference that much! its medium to dark blue! :o
