The only way they’ll dramatically reduce the cheaters is to stop it being free to play.
The first night of Vanguard early release of Caldera was great. No one wants to spend £49.99 every time they get caught cheating.

I used to really enjoy cod WWII and I only ever came up against a few cheaters.

Couldn't even get into BR last night it'd just be stuck loading the whole time. It even said 150/150 and say the match was about to start but it never loaded in. Weird as I managed a few with Cub in the morning but he was the host so maybe that's why it worked or the server's might have just been dodgy.
Been leveling guns up while the double XP weekend is running. Cooper Carbine with PPSH is my favourite loadout now. Going to try get the akimbo pistols done and the K98 sniper. BAR is a great gun too and barely has any recoil but feels more like an LMG it's so slow.
Was enjoying the game more last night not sure if it's because the update on the guns bloom or because I've actually got some leveled up reasonably well now.

Some in game Christmas themed AI that appears and hunts you. Takes about 500 rounds to kill it.
So all that happens is you get third partied whilst your forced into having to kill it. Him appearing in the first or second circle, maybe. But anytime after that and it’s basically a death sentence. First time it happens, great. A bit of novelty. But every game, sometimes twice. What twaddle.
Oh, and even when you’ve killed him, all you really get is an ammo box to restock the ammo you’ve wasted killing him. And killing him once in the game doesn’t mean he doesn’t hunt you again. It’s bullshit distraction basically. Can’t sort hackers, but can put b****cks AI in there to appear just as you’re rotating on a squad.

Yep. It didn’t kill us, but whilst your killing it everyone sees where you are and so just wanders up and third parties you.
Given BR is such a tight / challenging game to win anyway, it’s the last thing you need. If you got something special for it, like advanced UAV or specialist perk, I’d be a bit more understanding.

Oh, and it isn’t designed to be any easier to kill depending on how many in your squad are left alive. It’s not intelligently “proportionate” in that sense.

It wouldn’t even be so bad if he spawned once. It’s a complete joke and can’t have been thought through or tested.

He’s not that hard to kill as a quad or trio. It just takes time. And it’s time that means 99% of the time some other squad appears, watches you kill him then annihilates you whilst your picking up the ammo he drops.
Which you need as you use all of yours on him 😂😂
