Looking well mate.
You still living in the Headingley area? I've moved down towards Kirkstall Road so will keep an eye out for you in any case, was living next to the Rhinos ground back when I had the white 197.

Yeah still live near the stadium myself mate. Funnily enough the car has spent most of the last 11 years in Meanwood too so been local for a long time!

Few more "enhancements" ie modifications purchased and ready to fit.

So today I decided to prepare my 182 manifold & decat ready for fitting on monday, brillo pad to get any loose rust off, followed by a wire brush wheel and finished with autosol on a polishing wheel attached to a drill.

Not got any photos but had the 182 manifold and decat fitted on Monday.

Then the standard sized rear plate arrived today to fill the recess so I put that on, looks so much better now imo!

& Then fitted the engine bay bits as well as taking the gold wrapped "Heat Wrap" off the battery cover and polishing up the black underneath.

So I started my day by going to Prestige Custom Exhausts, Leeds and getting my exhaust sealed around the joints for my peice of mind.

I then got home to a delivery... Cup rear shocks!
Over the last few weeks I've been having a problem that the drivers side rear was rattling and pissed fluid all over my drive, in the good weather with my window down the rattling was almost unbearable!

Coated in ACF-50 :)

fitting these didn't go to plan, one of the only open ended spanners I needed was one I didn't have!

So a quick trip to Toolstation and I got the right tools for the job.

Then I encountered another problem a previous garage had ruined the top of the shocker so I had to saw this off as the nut just wouldn't spin up the thread.

But now they are both fitted and the driving feels so much better!

Lots of shots in the sun outside my Grans in Scarborough.

I then went to Liverpool but didnt really get any photos as car was parked up near the hotel most the time, on the way back I went to visit Chris at EFI to speak about Clio's & Coffee at EFI Parts.

My spider exhaust mount wasn't even bad really compared to some but just wanted to eliminate any potential problems in the future so fitted a Josh Worthington Custom made Polybush Exhaust mount.

Aren't those exhaust mounts just the low cost universal polybush in a standard exhaust bracket?
