cambelt and dephaser pully cost

im new here, ive owned a couple of 197s but ive just bought a 172 cup! after searching the forum ive figured out the noise coming from the engine bay is the dephaser thats on its way out!

does anyone know the current cost for the cambelt and dephaser pully to be changed? im in york so someone local to me? i know RS tuning are highly recomended on 197.net

I paid around the £650 mark iirc for both to be done on mine as I think the dephaser is about £130 on its own from Renault. Should be cheaper for a cup though as I have to pay alot more for a cambelt change with aircon

I think you mean air con. Climate is not going to cost more

yeah just look around for quotes as said you have a cup so is a little cheap to change than a 'non cup 1*2'
