Hi people,

im looking to purchase a road-Angel/snooper/B2 for my 182, just need to know which is the best for reliability and if there are any problems with working in the car i.e the super duper windscreen??

where is the best place to buy one of these units?? are these illegal??

I have the RA2 excellent bit of kit!!!

However your need a external antenna £20 from Blackspot. Unfortunately you wont get a signal for the gps through the heat reflective windscreen so your need a 5m one then you can run the cable to the rear window (Easy).

They are not illegal yet... but you can get more info http://www.blackspot.com/press/main.htmU here/U and it will be the laser detector that will be the issue not the gps. (you can now buy the RA2 without this built in).

Have a look at the Blackspot website http://www.blackspot.com/U http://www.blackspot.com//U tells you quite a bit on there but dont buy it from there lol.

Have a word with "Has" on this site he can sort out a decent price.

The Origin B2 is also a great unit so down to personal preference really but I can recommend the RA2 as Ive got one

you can turn the detector of on the ra2, you can also get an update from blackspot that turns it of permanantly

id go for the new Road Angel Professional, but its not out yet !

im a big road angel fan, very very reliable and accurate......unlike Snooper

I have an RA2.. very pleased.

The problems I had, now i think are better.

Being quiet below the speed limit.. I used to really want (RA doesnt do it but Origin does), but, its so easy with no beeping to just creap above the limit slightly by accident.. and forget it warned you in the first place.

It looks good, you can move it from car to car very easily (one power lead and a mount!) and its just generally a good piece of kit!
