Campus Differences?

What exactly is the difference between a Clio Campus and a normal Mk2 Ph2, say the Dynamique? Obviously the bumpers and boot door appears to be different but is there anything else?

I have said a few times now that I am looking to get a new Clio in a few months time and I keep coming across the Campus which is a 2006 and most Ph2s seam to be around 2002/3. I would rather get something newer if its basically the same car.

My plan is to turn it into a 172/182 replica anyway.

i think engine is 8v ? correct me if im wrong anyone ? also inside is more modern and its all colour coded, clear side repeaters. i think thats it.

There's some nice Dynamiques about at the moment, I maybe tempted My only requirements is it must be black and cannot have the hideous creme interior.

Dynamique + With AC.

Cream/grey interior comes with lower models like expression authentique etc. Dynam has the black with grey cloth inserts. 172 FF (Ooo don't say full fat!) has the suede inserts which IMO is where it's at.

ive got a tempest campus that ive turned into a 172 rep with 182 wheels on. there are two engines availiable 1.2 16v on the campus sport and 1.2 8v on the normal campus. If your wanting to turn it into a rep you need to get all the bootlid and shiz for the back and in that you need a new wiper motor, youl also need to swap around some wires for the boot locking mech but its fairly simple. Interior is a bit more modern i believe but apart from that i have a feeling the shell is exactly the sma eas a ph2. I heard that they had a load of mk 2 ph2 shells left over when they brought out the new shape i e 197 so made the campus to get rid of them?? dont know why they stuck the horrid bootlid like that on there though

That's like asking why doesnt the 200's wing and bumper not line up? Something to be talked about though I guess.

Can also get the 8v on the most basic model

I dont think it was poverty spec on the top model - I had the Sport i-Music version which had alloys, A/C, tunepoint, leather wheel etc etc....made a cracking first car imo
