Hi guys, just wanna say this website is qual, loads of useful info and so awesome looking cars, im so jealous but i can't afford £4k for insurance on a 182 :( ... anyway i'll get to the point, i've recently purchased a 182 rear bumper and back box as im wanting to add it to my 1.2 16v dynamique, i need to know if this will be possible and what else would i need, would i need to change manifold and cat - i know it will have go through the spare wheel well, does anyone know anyone who's done a similar conversion or does anyone have any advice at all as it would be greatly appreciated ... many thanks guys :D

You'd need a custom setup exhaust (I think Ktec have a setup for 172 but its not much use for you) to route the pipes round the wheel well the other optionis to have the wheel wheel cut out and a plate etc to cover it.

The 182 exhaust is bigger than the 1.2 one so you need to get an adapter type thingie made up.

^^ k-tec actually stated that it isnt designed to fit the actual 182 bumper though. so may not fit 100% accurately.

i'd personally go to your nearest custom exhaust centre, and have them make you up a cat-back system that'll fill the holes nicely, but thats also personalised and a bit different.

problem is tho with custom exhausts you'll probably end up with just one side of the exhaust being in use which imo would look a bit pony with emission and smog coming out of only one end lol

cheers fellas, i might just go for custom option, sounds a bit of a pain in arse to cut out rear wheel well and stuff, does anyone know anywhere in south yorkshire they would recommend me to go to get a custom system made ?

cheers

best bet would just be ask around everyone you know. my local powerflow for instance are excellent, whereas some people say their local dealer is shite. so personal recommendation would be the way forward

powerflow, exhausts:uk, or anyone out of the yellow pages would be a good bet for pricing etc.
