Can i disconnect my battery for the evening..

Can i disconnect my car battery for the evening without running into problems tomorrow morning?

Not sure that its the best plan of attack full stop, im going to be leaving the car in the most intensely dodgy place while i nail some bird for the evening and wondered if the car would be safer with a disconnected battery so it dont get stolen, but i guess the alarm wont work without the battery?

Take a bus/taxi/train/walk IMO. Zero point disconnecting the battery. It won't make it harder to steal if anything it'll mean a theif can break in undetected.

As for disabling, the car, my personal choice would be to unplug the throttle pedal and tape the connector out of site.

That way if anyone really does try to nick it, they just can't move it and the worst you've got it a busted window.

Other alternatives to putting the car at risk aside from bus/train/taxi is take her back to yours instead or a local travelodge/premier inn to smash the back out of it lol
