Can someone machine polish/detail my 182?

Hi people iam after my Clio 182 (black/gold) machine polished or paint detailed done in the next few weeks,iam just after the exterior done,there are swirl marks,few tar marks at the bottoms of the doors,and a few marks here and there which i think will machine polish out?
iam willing to travel say 40-50 mile radius from Staffordshire.

Could anyone do this for me? If so how much?

Hi Joe,

I live in Stone mate. I had RussZS detail my Focus ST for me. He traveled up here and did it one Saturday for me. Cant recomend him highly enough.

I'd be interested to know how much this sort of stuff would set me back?

Pritty confident in preparing it upto the stages ready for some correction/machine polishing (de-tar/wash/clay). So would just need somebody to come along and work their magic with a machine polisher which I could then seal & wax ontop of.

Would be willing to travel a small-ish distance from Hertfordshire (Junction 18 M25).

Not looking for anything just yet but putting the feelers out.

What sort of money are people charging for machine polishing ?

Said it would take about 4-5 hours to machine polish and detail the car!
Said it would cost £100! That any good??

There's a reason, we're not paying advertisers on the site, so that would be taking the Michael.

If it takes 4-5 hours to detail the car, it's not being detailed. It's likely to be mopped. Which means they have no clue how much paint they are removing. The art of paint correction is in the removal of scratches and swirls, with the least amount of paint depth taken.

And at £100, it will be a run over with a mop.

You get what you pay for chap - I know most who want their cars doing want to be able to correct the car once a year or so. It only takes one yahoo with a machine to cut too deep and you're down to very low amounts of paint and any more marks will require a respray, as there is no more paint left to play with.

The Guy phoned me up after i left him an email, i told that i wanted the paint corrected on the car, and that it had light swirls all over and he quoted me £100!?
Think I will use MagpieV6 on here, if she's cheap enough for me!
