£3.5 sounds cheap, and with having no job you might even be able to get it cheaper. No mention of belts though?
The belts are mentioned in advert, they have been done at 42k mate
cheap car, defo worth it, offer him £3k im sure u could get a few £'000 quid off it, go with cash, and say u'll take it right there and then dont ave time to waste viewing other cars
it always works if ur a serious buyer; CASH is always KING; u always get a discount when its layed out in front of the sellers face
Its cheap as it is, there is bartering and then theres taking the piss.
They bought jan 2010 so it's now outwith the 12 month period sadly. And why are cars in Newcastle etc always cheaper ?
yeah i agree, defo seems a good buy BUT then again cars well up north are ALWAYS cheap
Not really, but then the people that have driven down the cost of Clio Renault Sports are the folk on this forum.
Its been for sale for 25 days, that in itself would put me off.
A good 182, at that price would go quickly.
I'd go along with £3k in my pocket, & offer him £2.5k.
If he's jobless he'll be getting desperate.

More than likely started with a higher price?
Now after 25 days hes getting desperate and started to lower it
Looks clean tbh.
doubt it, do you think this forum is the be all and end all of the car market? A MASSIVE NO!
its the running costs & rioff parts which have driven the values of these cars down, you can break a 182/ 172 to more than there retail price these days.
tax £220 quid
cambelt £700
insurance £1500 quid = these r the sort of RIPOFF costs which hammers down the values
they'll level off around the £2-2.5k mark as you can rarely buy a smashed one for <£1k
its great for the buyers but a massive shock for them who paid £6-7k for one 15months ago!!!

Some of what you are saying is accurate. Some not so...I'll explain further.
1st of all. CS has a culture of cheap skating!! I.e. For sale Complete 182 interior. £400 ono....CS response... I'll give you £150...Fcuk right off. Your comment about bringing cash isn't valid, as bankers drafts are every bit as good as cash!
AGREE parts on here r very cheap, dont agree bankers draft can be forged/ stopped so not as good as cash
2nd. The price of RS parts with exception of the V6 is relatively cheap! We have group buys, dealers and specialist parts available to the consumer.
3rd £1500 for insurance??! Can't imagine what the insurance is like on the M400 then!
I have trade insurance 3rd party untp any value, never claimed, if i smash my cars up i'ii repair them as thats what i do, they wont get stolen as there never left in the undesirable areas.
I agree, they will level off around the figure you mention. Which in essence is why they are now driven my little morons! They are a very quick car, and dangerous in the wrong hands!
AGREE
I would also question your theory that all cars are cheaper up here...From my experience it's the opposite. I bought my cars down south...I suppose it depends on make and model!
