Carpet behind the engine

Does anybody have ideas how to fix this damaged carpet ? Some easy and cheap way please.

Get some black spray paint on it, makes it look 100x better!

I was told you can buy something to replace it with from places like Demon 'Geeks - some type of heat proof lining. I agree they look really horrible. Pull it out and stick something shiney in.

You need something there, I'd upgrade to some proper heat shielding. That carpet catches fire

Buy a new one? i bought the smaller one the lower spec clio's have for my cup racer to tidy up the bulkhead.

No, I promise it will tear as it's a bit of a job getting to bottom clips, fairly sure coolant hoses need to come off too

Any car with a very hot manifold that comes in contact will catch fire!
