ah danny you told the story quite well,i was at the dealers today pulling my hair out,i tell ya that place dont know there arse end to a spanner,first i get the car back with a knackerd final drive seal the the pistons the wrong way,well tbh a mssive relief on my half the fact that reno are going to pay,what a bunch of monkeys lol,glad you guys are there to sort there s**t out lol

Look at it like this. Renault screwed up yes but how many garages would own up to the mistake and then rectify it afterwards ?? Not many

lower compression is good in a turboed engine
Put a head spacer on and bolt a turbo on

out of intrest, has removing the head not voided the warranty with Renault? i.e have they asked why the head was removed for you to find this?

if not, im suprised they havnt used that to try and get out of the work...

i told them i was geeting cams put in,at the end of the day its my choice to have them or not as id be paying for them,but at the moment i haven got a choice as in not to have them cuz of renos mess up,if the egnine is built wrong then its wrong they have to admit fault there surely

valve cut-outs are larger on one side (inlet).


Im suprised they didnt try and get out of the warranty work by saying youve voided it by having the head removed. Daft I know, but not unkown for renault...

all done now got the car back yesterday morning,thanx to gdi for all the bullcrap that had to put up with and for getting it back to me so quik,thse guys are the bomb and will be using them a hell of alot more for when i get money for my itbs huh danny lol.the camms have made so much difference and i havent even got my map on there yet,cheers boys
