CHEAP way to fix damaged rubber pads on you steering wheel!!??

1st post outside market section lol
ruber pad on my steering wheel's broken for ages, which is really annoying, and Renault won't touch it unless Im chage the whole steering wheel:mad: which I can never afford:mad:! so DIY it is then.

1. get some blu-tack to stick to the bits that are miss and stick some under the ruber bits if it feels hollow.
2. press the ruber bit hard and make sure it doesn't feel hollow, rub the blu-tack to the shape, make sure every thing is leveled and smooth and you are happy with.
3. warp it around with insulation tape, make sure the tape is as tight as possible.

all done! this maybe a damn stupid way of doing it. but it's possibly the cheapest way, would cost you less than £3, just hope the sun won't melt those blu-tac this summer. lol
