Cheapest 197 yet! Cat C £6995

not worth it imo, by the time uve got it straight, u could of brought a new one, lol.

airbags, dash, front bumper, possible bonnet, nearside front wing, then theres the possibitly of subframe damage so ud have to get all that checked.

not worth the effort.

plus it'll always be cat c.

Doesn't look a great deal of damage from the pictures especially to write it off as cat-c. Which makes me wonder whether it's had any impact on the chassis leg or suspension/steering rack etc.

Cit-Ren are the people who repaired a Cat C Trophy and described it as lightly damaged... crap reputation so i'd avoid most of what they sell tbh

Ive had a few dealings with them and were fine...

Like any breakers a bit of common sense needs to bea apllied. That said the 197 is worth its cash.

Yeah it was someone on here (had the fencepost through the windscreen and dash I think+ subframe damage)

197 is gonna be expensive to repair, not as though there would be many breaking to gets parts etc. So all new parts from renault ££££ + as said it will always be CAT C regardless.

I believe it was Bubbles's other half Gareth (FunkyMonkey).

I agree with examples down to £9.5k it wouldn't be worth it.

yup it was my Trophy they tried and failed to sell on a number of occasions... but on topic that 197 to me seems pricey for a Cat C bearing in mind what you can pick up uncrashed and categorised 197's for
