Cig lighter

Hi guys new to the site, i have a 55 reg clio extreme, only a 1.2 but first car and only 20 so cheepish insurance. anyhoo can any one tell me how to reove the cigarette lighter i have managed to romve the screw from the bottom but it doesnt seem to want to budge.

doesn't the cig lighter/ashtray module just lift out then the lighter unplug? i wasn't aware of any screw holding it in place? :S

As far as I know its moulded into the can holder bit of plastic, don't think its removable unless its changed from my 51 plate.

The small plastic bit what the cig lighter is in just clips into the main centre console/can holder part. Get a small flat screwdriver and "carefully" prise it out.

Cheers the reason im asking is i have just bought some footwell neons and have a switch to connnect to it, i was going to romove the cig lighter and put the switch there as i never use it anway, anyone else got any other ideas?
