Clay, Wax, Polish tips

Ok, so I bought the Meguiars claying kit, wax and polish.

Planning on getting the sponge, chammy cloth etc etc out tomorrow..

Have you got any tips on how to get the best finish? I'm pretty new to the detailing side of car care

Any input appreciated!

Wash with a mitt/two bucket method,

Clay over, rinse again.

Polish over,

Then wax on, buff wax off.

That's as far as I know anyways, Im sure some detailing God will come along shortly.

Ok so wash and dry.

Clay, rinse and dry with a chammy cloth (is this ok?).

Polish and wax.

Done?
