Car  Clio v6

When people speek of a 16v do the usual mean a phase 1,2 1.8 16v ( bonnet bulge ) and not a 1.2 16v mark 1,2 ( Billibongy thing )

(I think this post is about generally Clios if its moved please give me a hint as to its new home.)

16v is a Valver yes..

When I see 16v I think Bonnet Bulge.. Heh.

16v/Williams

1.2 16v etc.. new shape..

When someone says 2.0 16v, I think 2.0 Conversion on a Valver.

1.8 16v also known as a valer.
Thank you I thought so, but some of these 1.2 16v owners refer to there car as a valVer, and I think thats what throws me.

People forget the Clio 16vs name IS "Clio 16v".. not just called a 16v cus it has 16 valves, although, it does..

but there is the new shape 1.6 16V which only shows "16V" on the door...this had me confused when I first joined this site

Mk 2 1.6 16V was badged 16V until they added leather etc and rebadged it RSi - it was also marketed as the new clio 16V......!

Its a bit like when you see some old shed like a corrolla with a huge rear window sticker saying "INJECTION" or "16 VALVES" down the door.

Oh my god dont race him he has fuel injection!!
