Clear up 172 confusion.

Im abit confused at the moment, I'm looking at ph2 172's however I've noticed that they all seem to have different switches next to the right of the steering wheel. Im talking about the panel where the headlight adjuster beam is on all models.

So basically ive see the 182, as as follows:
headlight adjuster
switch with writing at the top and bottom
switch with ESP? at the bottom i believe.

on 172's ive see models with headlight adjuster only
headlight adjuster and esp
and one with all.

pre 2003ish didn't have ESP/cruise.

Actually could be wrong, can't remember if my 172 (51plate) had cruise as i never use it anyway.

The later 172's had ESP (Electronic stability programme) and Cruise control. Those are the switches.

yeah looking at years of them looks like they start having those said buttons from the 03/53 plates.

all ph2 had them apart from the cups iirc.

Not all PH2 172s had cruise or ESP. They came in from July 2002. My 172 was registered in April 2002 and doesn't have it.
