Clio 172 Engine Cover Bolts & Oil Engine Cover!

Hey there im new to this site and were wondering if anyone can help me please! i have a clio 172 cup and im after some new bolts/screws for the engine cover, does anyone know where i can get these from? and sizes i need etc? also im after the oil engine cover too as mine has just snapped! many thanks guys & gals! :rasp:

I would suggest getting them from the dealers just to save faffing about, theyre two different sizes and probably wont cost much. Make sure they go on tight though. Mine shake them selves out every now and then!

If they keep coming loose they ust be the wrong size or the threads are gone mate I would give the whole thing a good clean and don't use the cover until you get new ones

They are all an M6 bolt, cant mind what length but I can check for you as my cover is off at the moment lol bolts are in the dash tray

No engine cover fitted to 172 Cups or is he talking about the inlet manifold and whats an oil cover?

He might mean the oil cover flap which is part of the plastic engine cover dude

That's what I was thinking too - it's tighter than a Nuns crack!

Yea it's the oil flap that's on the engine case, mines snapped :0( thanks for the info on the engine bolts I'll have a look at a dealers! :0) thanks for your help! :0)

I just scrapped mine, save weight

eBay is a better option for the bolts you need and most likely 10x cheaper too!
