clio 172 rear brakes conversion

Hi, I am new here on board.
Just a short question if is any rear brake conversion available for 172 as I have drum brakes in rear and would like to instal disc brakes?

Are you sure it's a 172 if you have drum brakes???

I have a model of year 2000 and it has a drum rear brakes.

All sport 172's I've seen have disc rear brakes. Is yours a 1.2 or something?

Ive never seen any sport with drum rear brakes, maybe yours was in a crash, bent the beam, and someone replaced it with a lower model one?

Just fit a disk rear beam back onto it like renault did in the first place.

I just got an info from previous owner, him says it was converted to drum brakes due to better handbrake on cornering??? as I know he was using a car for off road use only...

There was a thread a while back and an overseas member also had drums. It was looked into by a few on here and it turned out his was fitted with drums from factory iirc. ( early ph1)

But as Chip said convert back.
